As the title implies, $1,000,000.00 Worth of Twang v.1 covers the early career of Hall of Fame guitarist and first-generation rock-and-roll superstar Duane Eddy. Genuine stereo versions of "Rebel Rouser," Duane Eddy's break-through hit in early 1958, as well as his biggest hit, "Because They're Young," cover the gamut of releases that also include the first single, "Moovin' 'N Groovin'," as well as hits like "Cannonball" and "Forty Miles of Bad Road," and, among three bonus tracks,  two previously unreleased on albums, “The Secret Seven” and the aptly named “Lost Island.”

The album conveys the exciting first years of rock 'n roll when Dick Clark could make overnight hits and excite crowds who were the first to know and mold what rock 'n roll would become. Duane Eddy was one of the pioneers and this album captures the heady three years that laid the foundation of his reputation and influence over the whole history of rock and those who followed in his footsteps.

With never previously published photos and masterly remixing by Tom Moulton that captures the full depth of music as originally recorded but never heard before, $1,000,000.00 Worth of Twang v.1 is the one album that every fan of both Duane Eddy and rock 'n roll will covet and add to their collection for the excellence of its music, even to contemporary ears, as well as its historic value.
