Born in New York City on March 29 1939, Larry Roquemore was Rocco in the film of "West Side Story." He sang this Major Bill Smith recording of "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter," which did not make the same impact as the Herman's Hermits' version. Larry Roquemore wrote the other side, Just Stay." The record was released two weeks before Larry's 26th birthday, on March 15, 1965.
