Soul Brothers Six John and Les

John Ellison and Lester Pelemon, both songwriters and lead singers for The Soul Brothers Six, have been friends, colleagues and mutual admirers for over 40 years.

When they mulled over the political situation in the fall of 2012, they determined to do something about it. To promote the re-election of President Obama, they recut John and The Soul Brothers Six's signature song, "(She's) Some Kind of Wonderful" to address the local West Florida electorate and a worldwide audience. Mixing the President's words with the updated specialized lyric, the new production conveys the message of the title and commemorates a historic vote.
