All of Cliff Nobles's releases on Phil-LA of Soul are included in this CD, along with a special stereo version of "The Horse." The album shows that Cliff Nobles had a fine voice and it was only an accident of fate that made him into what the world throught of as an instrumental artist. The accident of fate was a Tampa-Florida disc jockey turning over his record, "Love Is All Right" after wearing it out from playing it all night--and find that the instrumental B side received even more accolades than Cliff Nobles's vocal on the other side.
Songs like "Burning Desire" exhibit Cliff Nobles singing talent far more than the amusing comments caputured on "Jusdge Baby, I'm Back," which is a memorable bit of moving soul set to a hot beat.
