Our Company

Jamie Record Co. is the oldest continuously operated independent record label in the U.S., if not the world. Founded in the 1950s before Dick Clark started American Bandstand in Jamie’s hometown of Philadelphia, the label has kept alive the music it and its dozen affiliated labels released in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s.

Now in our third generation, we continue to expand our audience through rereleases and compilations with a renewed emphasis on vinyl. We also continue to license our recordings and songs to movies, television and commercials, with 2500 one-stop recordings and songs.

Our catalog covers all genres of music from the 1950s to the 1970s

Our dozen labels cover genres from 1950s rockabilly and country to 1960s R&B and Soul, to 1970s Funk.

Your go-to one stop shop for vintage music

Since we’ve operated continuously since the 1950s under the same management, we are uniquely and intimately familiar with our catalog. As such, we are able to provide music supervisors and ad agencies with a wide variety of vintage masters to fit any mood or scene. Where other labels are only able to focus on their top hits, we can provide options to fit most budgets with both old hits and forgotten gems.

With 2500 one-stop songs and masters, we are also suited to short turnarounds and tight timelines. Click below for a list of our recent placements or contact us for inquiries.
