Jamie Record Co. made an agreement with Jerry Williams dated July 7, 1971 to put out "Don't Trust a Woman" b/w "The Pelican" by Slick and the Family Brick. The agreement called for the record to be release on the label "Swamp Dogg Presents" and for another, at that point unnamed 45 under the same label. That one turned out to be "Straight From My Heart" b/w "Don't Throw Your Love to the Wind" under his own nickname of Swamp Dogg. Jerry Williams was living at the time East Elmhurst, Queens, New York, before he moved to California and he went to Philadelphia to sign the agreement (see photo).
